My love for plants started with rescuing them—pulling forgotten greens from the trash, nursing them back to life, and watching them flourish. Over the years, I’ve learned how to decode their silent cries for help, from watering woes to pest invasions.

A Philo Xanadu With Multiple Issues
The Philo Xanadu had thrips, root rot and black fungus. I repotted the plant into a terracotta pot with airy soild after cutting off almost all the leafs and the rotten parts of the roots. I treated the fungus with neem oil and the thrips with biological plant spray. Two months later, the Philo Xanadu has fully recovered and looks like a brand new plant!
Fixing A Client's Overgrown Terrarium
This overgrown terrarium desperately needed to be taken care of. First, I emptied it, scraped the moss from the inside and cleaned it with green soap. I could save some plants which I replanted in a new base layer with leca balls, fresh organic soil and a sprinkle of activated charcoal. Then I added some moss, a cryptanthus and fittonia for a pop of color, and chlorophytum and chamaedorea to give different layers in texture and height. Pro tip: Putting this terrarium in a location without direct sunlight will slow the growth and make this terrarium more durable.
